For sofa cushions we recommend adding dacron & stockinette to make it easier to slide into the original cover and add loft.
Stockinette
Stockinette is a stretchable fabric tube that can be easily slipped over the foam cushion. It provides a smooth surface for the cushion cover to slide on, making the installation process much easier. This is especially helpful when dealing with snug-fitting cushion covers or foam inserts.
Protection for the Foam: Stockinette acts as a protective layer for the foam cushion. It helps to prevent friction between the foam and the cushion cover, reducing the risk of the foam getting damaged or worn out over time. This added protection can extend the lifespan of your foam cushion.

Dacron

When adding Dacron it is always best to add stockinette as the Dacron bonding can fail over time without this due to friction.
